Satanic Panic Miniatures are a team who are looking to bring classic representations of monsters and heroes to the tabletop. Their recent Kickstarter campaign focuses on creating a set of Multipart Hobgoblins matching the look and feel of the 80s.

Hobgoblins #1 - Satanic Panic Miniatures

The campaign will, at its heart, work on creating a set of ten Hobgoblins with a selection of different weapon options plus eight head type which can be mixed and matched. As you'll note, the design of them is based on interpretations of Hobgoblins which you might recognise from old wargaming books and roleplaying tomes.

Hobgoblins #2 - Satanic Panic Miniatures

As well as being useful for those venturing into a bit of dungeon delving, they could also be used as the core of a warband on the tabletop too. If you're playing a game like Age Of Magic or Erehwon for example, these would work as the core of such a force.

Hobgoblins #3 - Satanic Panic Miniatures

Mix these more old school options from Satanic Panic Miniatures with the likes of Otherworld Miniatures or Reaper and you'd have quite the nice array of options. If nothing else, these miniatures are going to be fun to paint. They are packed with detail and a nice wash would pick out all of the nooks and crannies.

Hobgoblins #4 - Satanic Panic Miniatures

It would be interesting to see if people adopted an old school paint scheme to match their look? Would you go for big, bright, vibrant colours or something more grimdark and muted to match a modern tabletop?
