Battlefront Miniatures dropped another big teaser for the end of 2022! World War III: Team Yankee - Red Dawn is going to be coming soon, offering up a chance to play out The Invasion Of America from 3rd December!

More information is going to be dropped on what's going on with Red Dawn in the near future but December isn't that far away! So, if you're eager to play out this awesome "what if?" scenario on the tabletop, you won't have long to wait.

I wonder who the invader will be? Will it be the Soviet alliance like in 1984 or the Koreans like in 2012? Maybe, if they have the balls, it’s the Chinese!
Does anyone recognize the symbol of the tank?
it’s the symbol the Russian tanks had in the 1984 film, but I don’t know if that was made up for Red Dawn or if it actually belongs to a Russian unit.

Thanks. That settles it then I guess. It’s the Russians. Nonetheless, I hope the Chinese make an appearance and take over the White House. Then we can have a Segway with Chuck Norris and Invasion USA! (And yes I know the Chinese were not in the movie, but I think it’s cooler!).

It’s based on the Soviet VDV (paratrooper) badge.

Looking forward to this, even if I don’t play team yankee with it there’s sure to be a whole boat load full of awesome 15mm minis that will be perfect for a load of games.

Sure, give me an all in one box kit to replay the moments from the movie and I am in. I am not interested in a full investment in Team Yankee but if I can play while drinking some beer and rolling dice with my friends I will be happy to purchase a kit.
