Warlord Games has now added their new plastic set of Winter German Infantry to their webstore for use in Bolt Action.
The set contains thirty different miniatures which can be configured to fit into all periods of the war which is nice to see. All of them are adorned in greatcoats and come with weapon options which include...
- STG44 assault rifle, Kar 98K rifle, MG34 light machine gun, MG42 light machine gun, MP40 sub-machine gun, Gewehr 43 rifle, stick grenades and Panzerfaust
You will find standard infantry figures as well as options which allow you to create command elements too.
This set is one of those which would be perfect for someone starting out in the game. I really like the idea of picking up just this set and maybe a band of Americans and then using them for small skirmish engagements between troops. You could do a LOT with just this plastic kit and some ingenuity.

Very good models. BTW the soldier standing in the front row forth from the left looks like the barrel of his weapon is bent up. Is that a special weapon for shooting up chimneys?
See FFG, this is how you make figures that have variety. Legion clone squads could learn a lesson here.

On my wishlist for some weeks now, this is my next BA box. The next after this will be the 88 Flak in plastic they announced some time ago, too. Yummy.
