Atomic Mass Announce “Strike Me Down” Star Wars Diorama

Atomic Mass Games have dropped a whole bunch of news for Star Wars over the last week or so. Well, there was even more over the weekend as they announced the new convention diorama for Star Wars: Legion, "Strike Me Down".

This new diorama is going to be available at both the Star Wars: Celebration this year and later at Gen Con. The diorama features Darth Vader clashing with Luke Skywalker in the Emperor's Throne Room as the villainous fellow watches on. A classic clash from Return Of The Jedi.
As well as getting the miniatures and the terrain, you'll also get Unit and Command Cards for both of these characters that will come with alternative art. Star Wars: Celebration will be held April 7th to 10th at the ExCel Centre in London and Gen Con, well, it's Gen Con!
That means you'll get a chance to pick it up over here in Blighty and America. They will be available from Atomic Mass Games whilst stocks last. So, not very long I would guess.

I’d love to have picked that up but AMG is making it a con exclusive. Which sucks monkey balls. *sigh*

yes. Especially since the alleged price of 84.00USD isn’t that outlandish considering what they ask for the other terrain pieces.
Zero chance of being able to pick this up. They run a prime sub service for people that pay a ton of money for early access to these events. They are allowed in the show floor and early hoover these items up. Even if you have tickets to the event your chances are low. Some year people with normal tickets have queued from 6.00 am at the event only to find they sold out already by the time they where allowed in.
Its a shame because it is just a nice model as well.

Shame then that it’s damned near impossible now to get tickets for Celebration. Last time I checked they only had Sunday tickets left and even those were crazy expensive 🙁
That does look nice but not many people can get that one.
Cool. A miniature I would love, but that I have absolutely zero opportunity to get. Even if I could afford a trip to London (which at £160 return on the train plus the event ticket price I can’t), with such short notice I definitely can’t go.
I find event exclusive Miniatures so incredibly frustrating and companies that do this sort of thing really don’t engender any sort of support from me. Why couldn’t they have done Rey vs Kyli Ren? Nobody would have given a shit about that
