Fantasy Flight Games, has announced their fourth Force pack in the Rogue Squadron cycle for Star Wars The Card Game called Attack Run. This set focuses on one of the most iconic moments in any of the movies. Who doesn't remember sitting on the edge of their seats waiting to see if Luke was going to get the shot off before Darth Vader blew him into space dust?

According to Fantasy Flight Games "With Attack Run, you have the chance to relive the climax of Star Wars: A New Hope as the Rebel Alliance makes its desperate attack on the first Death Star. In this Force Pack, you’ll find new Pilot versions of some of the game’s most iconic characters and their starships, including an Imperial version of Darth Vader with his specialized TIE Advanced, and a Rebel version of Luke Skywalker with Red Five. In addition to these, you’ll find Jedi-faction Pilot Keyan Farlander and famed smuggler Platt Okeefe, alongside a new Pilot version of Boba Fett with Slave I. Attack Run also introduces two copies of a entirely new, highly potent, fate card to be found only within this Force Pack."

Of course where would Luke be without his trusty X-Wing Red Five and that stalwart astromech droid, R2-D2 that both enhance the Rebel player's actions to target and interrupt the Empire player. Do not fret the Empire is not left short as they get the powerful I have you now card that allows an automatic destruction of an enemy target if the player wins a force battle.

I like Star Wars The Card Game, as it plays differently than Magic The Gathering and I know what cards I am getting when I buy a pack and I  can associate with this game since it is what my childhood dreams were made of.
