Black Powder’s Dark & Bloody Ground Pre-Orders Now Available

Black Powder welcomes a new supplement for those wanting to play games set during the French & Indian War. Warlord Games has now made pre-orders available for A Dark & Bloody Ground.
This new supplement has options for those looking to play battles during this period and the pre-order version of the rules comes with the special Eagle Eye miniature you can see above. Inside its pages, you'll find options for playing out battles of your own and scenarios based on the actual conflicts from the period.
Pick Your Battle
Talking of specific encounters, the team at Warlord Games have put together a selection of bundles to get you started. For example, we have the Raid Of Fort Duquesne set here which comes with the sides involved in the conflict plus rules too.
As well as this set you have options for other key battles plus smaller sets which help you start an army from scratch. You can get started with the French, the British and even a Native American War Party too which might find itself fighting alongside either force.

I know very little about this conflict, yet athe art on the front cover of the suplement make it strangely alluring .Nice work Warlord, I shall investigete this
Think of the French Indian War as the WWI of the 18th Century. A Political assassination (Franz Ferdinand for WWI and Ensign Jumonville for the FIW) by rogue operatives of their nation (Serbia/Great Britain) happens just at the right time to spark a giant war that opens with some major disasters (Tannenburg or Mons/monongahela) it then stagnates while both sides try to get their forces organized.
