Black Site Studio are working away on a new Sci-Fi skirmish game for their 32mm miniature collection. This time around they are heading into deep space with Violent Dark.

Violent Dark Base Game // Black Site Studio

Violent Dark, (previously known as Anomaly) is a 32mm cooperative and/or head-to-head game that has your crews battling against a deadly threat that sits in the darkness of deep space. Games are played out on a small 2' by 2' gaming space with three to five miniatures per side.

Players can choose to approach the game solo, as a group or competitively where one side takes control of the deadly alien threat. In this way, you can change the game to become a one-versus-many affair and have players take control of individual crew members.

Colonists // Violent Dark

Gameplay is ruled by the roll of a d20 and features concepts like Stress and Dread which are synonymous with the kinds of worlds that Black Site Studio is trying to evoke with Violent Dark.

Corporate Agents // Violent Dark

As well as being playable in one-off sessions, Violent Dark can also be played as a series of linked scenarios. Not only will this chart the successes and failures of your crew (and their deaths) but also the adapting and evolving Threat that stalks you from facility to facility.
