Warlord Games are continuing to build on their Historical/Fantasy Mythic Americas range with the addition of two new units for the Aztecs and some terrain to theme your tabletop. Pre-orders are available for these new options right now ahead of releases in May and June.

Jaguar Warrriors With Spears - Mythic Americas

Jaguar Warriors With Spears // Mythic Americas

The first set is a band of Jaguar Warriors With Spears. These elite warriors fuelled the power of the jaguar through their bodies as they fought. This means that they work well in brutal hand-to-hand fights. They can also throw their spears in close range assaults if you want to soften up an enemy before cutting them down.

You can also take up a more ranged position and channel the power of the birds with some Eagle Warriors With Bows.

The power of the eagle running through their veins has turned these warriors into deadly killers. They have the option to move, reposition and strike from different angles with ease. You can turn the Eagle Warriors into a harasser unit, plucking away at your enemies.

I do like these miniatures but I am still sad that we're seeing repeat sculpts in these kits. I can understand why they have done it as making miniatures can be expensive but it would be good to have each of the figures looking more unique.

New Mythic Americas Terrain

As well as the new miniatures, we've also got a bunch of terrain for those building tabletops to suit this corner of the world. There are three Pre-Columbian terrain packs for you to choose from with two temples and one set of village buildings.

Each of the sets comes with a pack of pre-cut MDF bits that you can assemble easily for use on the tabletop. I'm not sure that the roof pieces will come with the same degree of finish that you see here but it shouldn't be hard to replicate that look.

There are some really neat kits here for those wanting to dive into Mythic Americas. If you're looking to play the game, it can either be played with a Historical slant or you can go full Fantasy and throw in some of the big monsters from their collection.

Are you going to be snapping these up?
