The campaign is now already funded and the team behind the game are starting to unlock new miniatures and more to supplement your experience during this volatile period. At the core of the project are a set of miniatures that reflect the different factions fighting during the French & Indian War, each of which is in a 28mm scale.

This means they are perfect for games like Muskets & Tomahawks and Sharpe Practice but they can also be used with a bespoke rules system which is in the works by Andy Hobday, Tim Spakowski and George Asling. If you're interested in learning more about the project, check out the interview above.

There are a number of different pledge levels for you to consider with the likes of the Ranger giving you a great selection of models.

The different packs come with an array of Rangers, Native Americans and options for those building up smaller skirmishing forces. There is even a big resin boat included as part of the Savage pledge which is also an option for you to choose from. You can also see that as part of the selection of Add-Ons that they have shown off below...

Add-Ons - Footsore Miniatures

Add-Ons // Footsore Miniatures & Games

As a relatively small campaign, this is a neat one to dive in on I reckon as it gives you a snapshot of a period and its war that you could dive into with a handful of miniatures. It provides you with a fascinating style of conflict where the battlefield was dense woodland which was often blanketed by snow. It's often nice to step away from the rolling hills and fields to try something different.

Are you going to be getting in on this campaign?
