Lycian Warriors Join Gripping Beast’s Army Of Miniatures

Lycian Warriors have been added to Gripping Beast's webstore recently for those wanting to build up Hellenistic Mercenaries for your Ancient wargames. There are three 28mm metal packs for you to choose from.
Lycian Command Pack // Gripping Beast
The Lycian Command Pack (fittingly) leads the way. The sculpts come from Steve Selah and give you some Lycians/Lykians to use alongside more of your Ancient armies. As well as the two command figures, we also have two sets of figures getting ready to attack!

Some nicely bearded individuals are armed with spears and shields. They are armed with Greek Hoplon shields as part of the pack and you'll then have to look to snap up a set of spears that work for you to finish off the unit.
The Lycians seem to be a people who have been all over the place, at least within the Mediterranean and originated in Crete. You can find out a bit more about them HERE.

Nice models I also noticed posted today that Gripping beasts have completed the hand over of Front Rank and re-opened the site !!! Good news for all aside my wallet !!

These are very useful as they served in all sorts of places. Good to see some high quality sculpts too. Steve Saleh does some lovely work.
