Get Reinforcements For Halo: Fleet Battles Miniatures Game

Spartan Games has released some new fleet builders for Halo: Fleet Battles miniatures games.
With these new sets you can choose to upgrade your fleets to become even more massive for the ultimate battles in space. For each faction there is a large fleet upgrade with the two Epoch-Cruisers (UNSC) or two CCS Battlecruisers (Covenant) with auxillary ships for a total of nine ships or the Core Battle Group sets with Marathon Class Cruisers and Paris Class frigates (UNSC).
For the Covenant you can get more of the ORS Heavy Cruisers and SDV Heavy Corvettes.
Spartan Games have also released Commander Pack sets that will include a 128 page rulebook, stat sheets for the fleet commanders along with dice and tokens for the specific faction of your choice. Now if you have picked up yourself a fleet box you can jump in and play the game with these Commander Packs.
They have also released extra dice sets, so as your fleet grows so can your dice pool. It is nice to see the game growing and hopefully this is only the beginning of new releases.

The best I can tell there is nothing in these new packs that wasn’t in the base game box. A good choice if you just need a few more ships to fill out your starter box fleet. The commanders and dice sets are exactly the ones in the starter set so it would probably make more sense to buy one or two starters and share with a friend.
The core upgrade boxes have some new formations.
Where did you see this? I looked pretty hard to see if there was new stuff and couldn’t find any. Glad I found out before buying a second starter, which I had planned to do thinking the contents were the same.
So many space battle games these days… hard to choose one, and tougher to leave one out and get the rest… I need a bigger house 🙁
