Martin Buck worked on the concept pieces for these particular miniatures a while back in 2020 but now seems a perfect time to bring them to life. Buck has now worked to bring a range of these concept pieces to life and Peter Brown has already created the master moulds for these. Funds from the Kickstarter will be used to put the range into production.

Napoleoniques Miniatures // The Little Soldier Company

The miniatures (the initial six of which you can see above) will be available in metal and whilst they have a Halfling look to them, they will be around 28mm and be human-sized. The exaggerated proportions serve to make the range feel unique alongside other collections out there.

The range was originally going to be part of the Geründerland world that The Little Soldier Company has been building alongside a tabletop game but if things go well with the campaign then this might be expanded! More miniatures for the range are in the works including a figure for Napoleon.

The miniatures look great and packed with character so hopefully, The Little Soldier Company gets to expand their offerings and bring more miniatures into the range. I could see folks having some fun with these alongside the likes of the Alternative Armies range for example.
