Kaha Miniatures have come out with a few new pieces of concept art promising new models for their world of Oroko.

First, appearing in full colour, we have Akamatsu the Red.

Akamatsu the Red

Akamatsu looks to be a massive Oni of Asiatic folklore, wielding a club that is excessive even for this mighty race. If the model follows this concept, then we will get one of the most menacing and dramatic sculpts of such beings to have appeared on the tabletop.

Following on from him we face the charge of Faru.

Faru

Faru promises to be a hulking mass of unstoppable muscle. Kaha's selection of beastmen, most of which are animals from the continent of Africa, are really cool and creative and I would love to see them included alongside more traditional goat headed animal/man hybrids to add a bit of a variety.

Lastly, we come to Tukaroto and Hoani, two warriors of the Kohiwi tribe.

Tukaroto and Hoani

These two sport some cool detail, with the style of the concepts edging into the cartoonish, but nonetheless being what you would expect from a tribe of imposing fighters.

Which of Kaha's new concepts do you like best?
