About the Project

When notice of Battlefront's Fate of a Nation book was announced I decided to try my hand at an IDF army. As with so much of my building and painting that army is still mostly just a pile of shame. Then came the announcement for Oil Wars and I got really excited to build up an army for our monthly Team Yankee games at the FLGS. This is the story of how that army started and and what I have accomplished in the last year or so.

This Project is Active

Air support that can work for both Oil Wars and FoaN.

Wish they would have F-4s but these A-4s are pretty cool.Wish they would have F-4s but these A-4s are pretty cool.

Some day I may do a Soviet based army (there is one waiting for some paint) but just 2 platoons of infantry and the other little dudes throughout the army really wore me down.  Very happy with how they turned out and that they are all done.  🙂

This unit was the main reason to expand into Oil Wars with the IDF.  On the table they have been an extremely viable asset, taking out artillery or anti-air to open up the battlefield.

Merkavas and Vipers from the box set and expansions.
