So, I decided to post a few photos here of the smokestack in near finished condition ( I need to repair the cables/power lines as they decided to fall off in places). I am also going to at a firey plume of smoke from the top …more to come later

Just thought I would throw the pieces together to get an idea of how the project looked so far.

This chem vat is made from a piece of cardboard shipping tube and various plastic parts. The bubbles in the vat are made using drops of PVA. It is all passed on a thin piece of particle board.

These are pretty self explanatory…just the front of dollar store water guns painted to look like generators.

Printed Vinyl Game Mat

I stitched together a file in photoshop from scanned images of the underhive tiles to make a 4×4 game mat file and had it printed from an online sign printing shop. This acts as the base of my Necromunda board. This is a very cheap alternative to buying a mat. Many times there are deals for half price printing and free shipping on these sites and I believe it ended up costing me about $20 USD.

Not sure if I am supposed to do this but since I can’t figure out how to put the file here to download I will link to where I originally posted it

Hope this is useful to some of you

Raatz’ Nest painted!

So I painted up the saloon, mostly with metallic paints (GW and Vallejo) and washed in a black brown wash. I tried to to make the sign look as though it was neon ( my first attempt at OSL with an airbrush). I’m pretty happy with the results. Again sorry for lack of progress photos…still posting work done before I started this project blog.

I started my work on my underhive settlement with a saloon … some kind of hive of scum and villainy. This is the project in its unpainted state. I decided to start this as a project here after a lot of the work was done, so I apologize for not having all the steps involved. The building is made from the scraps of many plastic kits I had laying around…so I am not really sure where the all come from, although I know there are parts from original Necromunda boxed set and many parts from the Pegasus plastic platformer sets
