Puppets War Proudly Display Their Painted Models
January 9, 2015 by dracs
Puppets War have published a couple of images showing off some of their scifi vehicles decked out in awesome paint jobs.
These models were all painted by Atropos of Third Fate Creations and I think the work is fantastic. The camo is especially well picked out and, perhaps paradoxically, just serves to show off the model to its full potential.
However, my personal favourite has to be this Enforcer Battlewalker.
The high tech design on the cockpit glass is particularly cool and a nice touch that helps characterise the model. It would be even better with a slightly more dynamic pose, but all the same Puppets War's Enforcer Battlewalker is one of the best scifi mechs on the market and this paint job definitely does it credit.
Do you like seeing Puppets War's models painted up? How would you choose to paint them?

Love both vehicles the Taurus especially.
Third fate is not always my favorite.. a lot of his work ends up looking like stencils that have been dressed up heavily.. but.. he is incredibly good with that and in these instances it worked out really well. I am not keen on the cockpit on the enforcer though.. neither the paintjob or that option for the model.. but then I like that model as a homage to Cain from Robocop 2. The body in Third Fate’s Enforcer is great though.. it reminds me of Battletech heraldry or similar.
The Taurus on the other hand is perfect in both of those schemes.I never cared for the model as an APC except for Forgefather or Grymm or similar.. but now that I have seen that law enforcement scheme I can’t see it as anything else.
When I paint my Enforcer it will be done up very similar to Cain. If I ever get a Taurus (probably for Forgefather as the hard plastics from the DZ KS are fantastic) I will very likely paint that in the Blue White Tan with brass/gold metals similar to the Mantic store pictures.
