You can now pick up some awesome new books for Free League Publishing's Middle-earth roleplaying games. Whether you're diving into The One Ring or The Lord Of The Rings Roleplaying, you have some options to choose from as you venture forth into the Lone-lands.

Tales From The Lone-Lands - The One Ring

Tales From The Lone-lands // The One Ring

Tales From The Lone-lands provides you with six new adventures to dive into set during the Third Age. You could play them individually or you could make them part of a larger saga if you so desired.

As Free League mentioned over on their webstore "Over the course of these adventures, the heroes may thwart the spies and stratagems of the Enemy, explore long-lost wonders of the north, and travel far from hearth and home. Preserve the spark of hope, and one day these empty, wounded lands shall be healed!"

Dwarven Council Art - The One Ring

I'm a big fan of The One Ring as a roleplaying game and I really like what Free League has been doing with this new edition of the game. Exploring The Lone-lands offers a great way for players to explore familiar locations as well as head into areas less explored. It's a great playground for adventure that can have an impact on the overall story unfolding within Middle-earth without stepping on the toes of Tolkien's stories.

A 5th Edition Adventure

If you're tempted to dive into these stories but using the 5th Edition rules then you can also get your hands on Tales From Eriador.

Tales From Eriador - The Lord Of The Rings Roleplaying

Tales From Eriador // The Lord Of The Rings Roleplaying

This book takes the adventures from Tales From The Lone-lands and introduces them alongside the 5th Edition rules used for The Lord Of The Rings Roleplaying. You'll get six adventures to dive into set in the same region in the North West of Middle-earth that can be played individually or linked together.

Adventures include A Troll-Hole, If Ever There Was One and Little Kingdoms which are smaller, self-contained adventures as well as The Quest Of Amon Guruthos which pits you against an ancient evil that threatens all of Middle-earth.

Will you be picking up The One Ring's Tales From The Lone-lands or Tales From Eriador for The Lord Of The Rings Roleplaying?
