Darrington Press are returning to their Tal’Dorei Campaign Setting once more with a new book that will allow you to enjoy Dungeons & Dragons adventures in the world crafted for Critical Role by Matt Mercer.

The original Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting book was released way back in time during 2017. It was a great way to dive into the world of Exandria and follow the exploits of Vox Machina. This new book updates and expands things for the lands of Tal'dorei, bringing things up to date with the exploits of The Mighty Nein.

This means that the new book will allow you to follow on from the events at the end of Campaign One of Critical Role. See how the exploits of Vox Machina shaped the land and then dive in and tell your own stories.

New story hooks will be included alongside expanded character options including nine subclasses and five backgrounds. All of this is a neat way to theme your games of Dungeons & Dragons specifically around the world of Critical Role and Exandria.

You will also find new Vestiges Of Divergence which are powerful artefacts that grow and change in power as the user levels up and brings them to bear against their foes. There are also a bunch of new creatures which have been brought to life by Matt Mercer.

I also like that we're going to be able to see new lore titbits and statistics for the members of Vox Machina. I think it would be ace to see where things have changed now for those heroes, especially as a fan of Critical Role.

As is the way with the products from Darrington Press, the artwork looks sublime. You can find all of the artists involved HERE.  Beadle & Grimm’s are also going to be making a deluxe set for this release too!

Are you going to be picking this up?
