Scaldcrow Games has a new project on Kickstarter currently and it is called Wild West Horse Opera RPG. This is an RPG set in the Old West.

This will be a fictional work set in Arizona in the late 1800's in a town called Slow Funeral Ridge and you can play a multitude of characters. One attraction for me is that this is based on this time period without the Steampunk add-ons that is popular right now.

Don't get me wrong I love my Steampunk games, but I am a huge fan of anything western especially Old West as I spent several years of my childhood living in Kansas and Colorado.

This set will include three books...

• Wild West Horse Opera RPG (Core Rule Book)
• Night of the Wendigo Adventure Book
• Six Gun Red, a novella about a Civil War Veteran who has adventures to find who he is after getting amnesia.

"The game is based on a 2d6 system and allows for easy play with a lot of narrative. There are several levels to pledge at to get you from the base of PDFs to printed books. What is really special about this project is that you can immerse yourself into the background by naming a character or how about having yourself on a wanted poster in the marshal's office!

This is a must see for any Old West fan or RPG player, if you are like me you might jump in on this to collect another rule set. So, strap on your six gun and grab a hunk of horse flesh and ride hard into the sunset."
