The Desert Guardians Defend Ancient Tombs For Twisted

Demented Games have shared some more of the miniatures they have been working on for their Steampunk game, Twisted. Here we have the Desert Guardians Of Set which come in the Egyptian Starter Sets and Faction Boxes.
These are some superb miniatures which have really allowed their sculptors to go wild. I think the more exotic location means that they can explore some interesting quirky design choices like the hookah pipe strapped around him.
As you can see the sculpt isn't complete finished as there still needs to be a little bit of work done on the hands and the back of the model. As it stands though he's looking fantastic.
This sword swinging fellow is a more proactive member of the Desert Guardians I reckon. In the narrative I would hope that they argue a lot as this character wants to get into the fighting while the other hangs back and mutters about wanting to relax and enjoy his pipe smoke!
Interestingly as you can see here there's a bit more detail done here with the canopic jars. I'd like to know more about those and how they work with the character.

It looks great because he himself is 28mm tall, he works 1:1, great guy

I can confirm Seb is not 28mm tall but I do have a feeling he has one of those Ant Man suits tucked away somewhere,,,

I like the little jars they have that have the organs of others. I’ll imagine that they tap into some sort of spirit or power with the jars.

Don’t worry Angora, I am already a backer, absolutely amazing sculpts Seb makes, and a painters dream, would ordering be all if I had the money. Will have to pick some.
