Things from the Basement have teased an upcoming offering for the ancient world.

hings from the Basement Trojan Horse

I'm a big fan of Things From the Basement and what Jörg produces, recently he's been working away on a lot of industrial machinery and 20th century buildings so imagine my surprise when this appeared from him.

Seen from the walls of Troy an offering to the Gods from the retreating Greeks made from the finest MDF and crafted by lasers, this wooden horse is incredibly quirky and will be available the last week in September. There is no word yet if the Trojan Horse is a one off, or if it is the start of a range for Jörg, based on his past work I would have no problem in believing that we could see more additions for the ancient era of warfare from Things from the Basement.

With ancients seeing something of a revival in 28 mm of late it would be good to see a larger variety of terrain for different periods and nations to allow tables to.

With Mortal Gods searching for play testers for a mythical supplement, and games like Gods and Mortals, and Saga: Age of Magic already out there, I can see this being wheeled onto many tables as an objective or just as a unique terrain feature to fight around.

Having just finished half of my own Greeks for Clash of Spears I will certainly be looking to add one of these to give me a table that is suitably historically accurate for Warren.

Do you fear the Greeks when they bring gifts?
