New Heroes & Villains Coming To Warmachine Over Christmas
December 11, 2023 by brennon
Privateer Press has been showcasing some of the new heroes and villains coming to the Warmachine range over the Christmas period. You'll be able to get your hands on various 35mm Fantasy characters for a selection of different factions.
Zaccheus, The Winters Chill // Warmachine
We lead the way with possibly my favourite of the bunch, Zaccheus, The Winter's Chill. This fellow looks bloomin' awesome and I love the big icy weapon he has trailing behind him as he bounds into the fighting. Talking of bounding, who could say no to a fellow with a badass rabbit mount?! A really lovely miniature that I think is going to be on quite a few people's Christmas lists, especially with him being a Mercenary.
Talking of mercenaries, there are a few more for you to choose from as well as Zaccheus. You can also start hacking through your enemies with Bellighul, Master Of Pain.

Again, a great sculpt that comes packed with character. I like the pose that gives Bellighul a villainous appearance as if he is staring down at his next victim after lashing the first to death. You could have plenty of fun with the blood effects on this fellow.
We then move to another top miniature from this collection in my opinion. I've always liked the Trollbloods and Greygore Boomhowler is no different.
Greygore Boomhowler // Warmachine
Armed with a fearsome axe and bellowing to the skies, this fellow seems like someone you'd want rousing your warriors to new feats of endurance and strength. A nice heroic pose and plenty of space for you to play around with painting tattoos and rocking the right kind of tartan! I also like that he has his axe chained to his wrist so he can maybe even introduce it to his foes at range.
If you're looking to practise a bit of shamanistic ritual magic then how about the mysterious and particularly snappy Madame Moriarty?
Madame Moriarty // Warmachine
Again, a great pose and a miniature that comes packed with detail. I could see hobbyists getting a little obsessed with making sure all of her charms and trinkets were painted up nicely. You could even do some fun object source lighting on the bottles to make it look like the contents are glowing and decidedly dangerous!
Last but not least we have a real predator in the form of Nissak, Totem Huntress Champion.
Nissak, Totem Huntress Champion // Warmachine
An up close and personal combat machine that takes nods from the jungle-hunting alien that made Arnie's life a living hell. You've even got the big claw and the throwing weapon! Again, you've got a lot to work with when it comes to this miniature and nailing the musculature. Additionally, you could play around with different patterns for her fur/skin to match the kind of environment you want her to be in.
As well as these Mercenaries, December will also give you a chance to get the Shadowflame Shard Core Army Starter and the Khador Annihilators Cadre. You can find out more over on the Warmachine Facebook Page.
Could you be tempted by some of these Mercenary characters for use in your games of Warmachine?
Those are great minis. Really like the bunny rider. Makes me want to play Hordes and Warmachine again. Circle was was favourite army to paint and play and the bunny rider looks like he’d fit in nicely…
However… my opponent moved away and now those boxes of Hordes and Warmachines only getting an outing when I need them for an RPG.
Dangerous Wabbit.
