He's mighty in stature as-well-as during the game... he's the Marauder Hero!
Whether you use him as your Captain or to represent your Unit Leader. This guy is an awesome size and comes sporting a terrifying Ripper... but is the Ripper worth the drop in attacks?

yep, gettin one…or two…or….more….f**k me that’s an awesome mini!…shame about the base being…not 40 mm 😛
@windir Get a 40mm base and some glue… now it does!
The round inset bit on the bottom of the model makes it dead easy to stick to other bases, you don’t need to file it down or anything. All I would suggest is a bit of putty (I use miliput) to smooth out the edge of the insert after flock & gravel you’ll barely notice.
absolutely loving the Warpath coverage guys!!
I like that so far they have some sort of backpack and have a look that is more orderly than 40k’s ork army. I always felt that a race of orcs in a sci-fi setting should have a steam punk look. Think of the orcish guys from 5th element, they rocked and this boss has that feeling.
looks great…lack of pose adjustment and gaps at joins a slight downer but still its an excellent figure. A metal base option would be good as i can see t falling over on some terrain.
I may look long and hard at warpath minis with a view to picking them up for Combat Zone, plus Infinity, 40k and at43 proxies. I might even use em with Warpath
It really is stunning.
The thing that strikes me about both the heroes , is the material.
Even the very best samples of Finecast I have seen do not hold detail as well as that, which given the fanfare, must be hurting GW management somewhat.
I dont know much about mantics output, but I suspect QA is better also.
Those details amazed me. Its just too great…
Incredible model, can’t wait to see the Grunts.
awesome
Hey guys, im very confused about the size of the minis, i mean, they look huge for 28mm, i dont know exatcly why… Could you guys make a shot of some of them with a space marine, or another well know sized miniature? Thanks in advance…
IMPRESSIVE.
Looks the kind of thing that will tear apart your arms before blasting your face, isn’t it?…Sorry, too gore =P
The kinf of detail makes it look “functional”. Other companies use to oversize the equipment, but the guys at Mantic use a reasonable size that makes them look more “real”… if you know what I mean.
I agree with Manpug. The Marauders, at least to me, capture that feeling of the Mangalores from the Fifth Element exactly, and are how I plan to paint/model my own collection. The level of detail on all the models I’ve seen so far this weekend (and I hope there’s more… please say there’s more!) is absolutely astounding.
Certain other companies should be ashamed of themselves.
Looks good! Looking forward to see the rest of the marauder minis! As an Ork player in 40k I reckon that’d also double as a nice Nob with pk =)
That figure kinda looks like 40k Ork but that might had been purpose.
great looking model!!! but where is the new models as these pics have been out a month or so at least.
really loving the pose but as the bloke in the video says the lack of a repose may be a problem. Great detail though!!!! As mentioned in the Video, you have to buy the power klaw as an upgrade, so do you get a modelled fist as well as those pieces seen in the video?
Please provide newer pics of all things shiny and full of plastic goodness. please please please. 😀
1 vid today or did I miss something?
@windir 2 videos, Stormrage Veterans as well…
@broadside patience my friend… there’s still tomorrow to go…
I have a feeling there might be a revelation or two, as the final trumpet call of the weekend!
let’s hope because even though the models are gorgeous, 1 new showing for the whole weekend is kinda lackluster…
That is one of the best figures I have ever seen, it puts forgeworld figures to shame. Can’t wait to see what the corporation figures look like.
Great fig, but you should supply it with a 40mm base because it tended to tip over the front in the video.
He Dwarfs the Dwarf! All is as it should be 😉
Good pose, true to the concept art, amazingly sculpt, suitably threatenign in size. It only really need a bigger base as the forward hunching lope makes the model a bit too unblanced with the 25mm base.
