What a brutal game!
I loved the big guy battle really early on, while the ram seemed to win (with a little help) I still like the phasing wierd alien thing! I blame to dice rolls for the watchers.
I’m very torn as to who I like out of these two factions. While I love the fact people get to turn into warewolves and the like the fact you can have the greys really swings me over to the watchers.
Im very interested in seeing the other factions, Im keeping tuned in!!

Really liking the game! I have some older miniatures though, and I dont have any of the new cards or gubbins. Anyone know if there a way to use regular cards or make my own? I’d like to play the game
First game i have ever seen and guess what ? im all over this. 2nd editions are always the time to jump in , just not sure which faction you should send me .To tell you the truth i like em both. LOL
Might have to try this game, I love the mechanics in it.
I wish there was a way you can show the cards or rules up on the screen for example when discussing Focus, Dash or the action points of a character. It seems this could be put on post edit so as not to make the game longer.

Hope 2nd edition takes off. I loved the game but couldn’t find opponents for 1st edition games.
Great game! I was impressed from the start because the rules were looking very tight but the fact that momentum can swing on a dime through the game through bravery (or over extending!) makes this a very compelling system. I like that you aren’t chewing through a million wounds – there’s lots you can do to inflict/prevent damage but when it goes through it’s really bad news for the model.
Was rooting for Warrior Nation but loved the cinematic ending!

Oh man what a game, that was tense all the way through, I dont remember the last time I saw a game that was genuiney edge of my seat exciting unless I was personally involved.
I now see why Justin loves this game so much, oh lord so I see it now.

Now I have no idea , until I say their two faction sgments, I wasn’t overly keen on either. Then after watching those videos I liked both of them , and now finally after that brutal fight, I Love them both and am really enjoying the changes in rules between the editions. The rules seem a lot sharper now. ……. Now if only I could pick a side ……. blast
I absolutely loved this play through. I almost missed my train stop, cause I was so caught up in the game. The ebb and flow of the system is just so interesting. And I must admit this was two very different kind of miniatures, I never thought I’d see pitted against each other. What a game!
Also…I would love too play against the two gentlemen. Their completely different playstyles would be an awesome learning experience. The fact the game can handle such differences, says a lot of the system.

That was an enjoyable barrep to listen to while doing some hobby stuff. The mechanics seem easy to learn and the concept of 1 wound per model seems to make nothing too over powered which I like. I think a focused “overwatch” (sorry I can’t remember what is was called) might be interesting if forming a defensive line while decending, but otherwise it seems okay at the moment. Looking forward to the next one so keep em coming.
Great battle report, I was voting for the watchers, just because greys are the best 😉 of these two factions my money would go grey. The dice rolls give, and the dice rolls take them away ;D

Would like to see the “thoughts/plan” part you do with Infinity reports where each player tells us for each round how he plans and what he thinks his turn went in every battle report….helps much to get into the game and factions.

Well that is why we play dice game. The Grey were great! Grey Liberation Front for the win! Down with the Oppressors! Yes they have to first put them in a false sense of security before shooting them in the back.
What!!! the hell went wrong………………I think Darren`s big fail was, Chris know his pet hates and used them against him.
It was a bright summer morning and the war party where heading out, the young braves where eager for the taste of the enemy. Alas it was not meant to be, no sooner had the attack started it was doomed to fail……………………..The main reason for this was the enemy leader was working the numbers, and there is no defence against “The Working of Numbers”.
Great game, lot`s of dice fails what more could you ask for. I liked how the Warriors played, be nice to see how they play against the other factions.
Nice leader charges. First that piercing 4 by Ghost Wolf, then the alien took him out with that range 3 combat. Very cool.

I think the 2nd edition looks like a fun game, but I also think it has lost some of the uniqueness of the 1st edition and seems a bit too similar to others in how it plays now. I think the single wound thing has changed the whole feel of the game and I’m still not entirely convinced it is for the better yet…
That game had some epic showdowns. And fate seems to be quite fickle here. I do wonder if that is down to strategy or bad dice luck. It looked like both guys fell out of favor with the dice gods at some points.
Speaking of points, it did take me until the end of the video to figure out how the number mechanics work. An introduction to the rules as part of a focused week would be nice.

I swar that elk rose up from its base by 45 degrees every time you lifted it. If that was mine it would have snapped off at the ankle 5 minutes in to the game

This was a cool fight
Seeing the ‘big bad’ being taken out so quickly is one of the reasons I think I’ll be sticking with v1 of the game. Although I do like the cleaned up and streamlined skills, it’s most of the other changes in the mechanics I’m not crazy about. For example, in v2, you can spend ‘fortune’ after rolling the dice whereas in v1, you had to declare spending ‘influence’ (fortune) and how much, prior to the dice roll. To me, this was a gamble as you could end up spending it and not needing to have done so. I LOVED this mechanic and was part of my decision to back both KS runs.
Love the minis and genre. I’m glad to see Warcradle continuing the saga and really like their sculpts. Perhaps I’ll pick up the v2 rules someday (since I missed out on the free copy as I don’t do social media).
