Grab New 15mm Fantasy Army From Khurasan’s Collection

Khurasan Miniatures has now released their new range of 15mm Fantasy miniatures for The Men of Darah, giving a new foe for The Riders of Nahor to come up against on the tabletop.

The Darah (have you sussed it out yet?) have been designed as your classic Saracen-style warriors, facing down the forces of good in your Fantasy world or perhaps battling against a crusading invader. The current set of releases from Khurasan comes with all of the core stuff that you'd expect to find in a Fantasy army, from your characters through to all of your infantry and a few elite units too.

Your Command figures, offering up a neat general figure and his banner bearer, can then be put in charge of ranks and ranks of Spearmen and Bowmen.

They look great. Very clean sculpts with just enough detail to make them fun to paint without being overwhelmingly detailed. You could have a lot of fun with rich colours here, as Khuarasan has above. I would like to see someone have a go at these and paint them in yellow or orange.

Your infantry is then supported by some elite cavalry who will be riding into the heart of the fighting to break the enemy lines. Again, they look great and I like that their poses show them in the midst of the action rather than just cantering along.

For the elite side of things, the forces of Darah have been seduced by the whisperings of some servant of the Dark Lord and so they can also call on the Half-Ogres to fight alongside them. Again, you get a good mix of different miniatures in this set for you to make a diverse unit on the tabletop.

Last but not least, you also have the Warbeasts, which will be lumbering forward to smash aside your enemies. They come with the howdahs as you can see, sporting riders armed with spears and bows. Remember, elf princeling, they still only count as one.

All of these miniatures would be a great way to pit the Riders of Nahor against a formidable foe. I think it would be great to see someone use these to play something like Midgard Heroic Battles or perhaps just the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game but in 15mm rather than 28mm.

Hopefully, it won't be long until we see the forces of Rodnog sallying forth from their fortress to aid Nahor on the field of battle. Maybe this could be a chance for the elves of Llednevir to ride to their aid? Perhaps they are instead supporting the Dwarves of Robere in the North and can't head south that quickly?
