Interpret Art & Search For Clues In Stella: Dixit Universe

Libellud has previewed a new game from the Dixit universe. Stella: Dixit Universe is a new competitive game of interpreting wonderful artwork and scoring points for correct guesses.

I have always quite enjoyed the simple gameplay of the Dixit games and so it's neat to see this being expanded upon. Stella plays with a similar concept of Dixit, interpreting big lovely cards packed with wonderful art. Each player looks over the cards then associates them with a clue word.

When you select the same cards as other players you'll score more points. If you select a card that no one has chosen then you'll lose out. Stella, therefore, becomes a game of shared imagination where you're trying to work out how each of your friends' brains works!
Again, not a massive departure from the original Dixit but with enough of a change. I like that you're still looking at gorgeous art but not trying to outwit your opponents in the same way.
Look out for the release of Stella: Dixit Universe coming out later this year!
