Fancy the theme of Horror for the cold and final quarter of the year? Trick Or Treat Studios are at it again as they are taking the themes of the gruesome and twisting them into a chilling jaunt on the tabletop. This time, players will be diving into a tension-filled jaunt away from Leatherface and avoiding their fate on the Killing Floor.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Game - Trick Or Treat Games

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Game (Prototype) // Trick Or Treat Games

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Game places two to four players within the 1974 horror movie classic as they make their way through the storyline. Fresh out of luck and gas, players will need to head across the map to search for key items to back into the van, and safely down that highway.

Lurking in the background and on the hunt for each player, Leatherface will be keeping track of player locations. They will be chasing each player from A to B until he can trap them on his own Killing Floor. With three turns to try and escape the clutches of the cold killer, they may need a fresh shot of adrenaline to get out or they might end up getting eliminated.

Trick Or Treat Studios have said that there will be a plastics miniatures range released separately too, for those who want to use the movie character miniatures for other tabletop games or to simply expand on their board game experience.

Hoping to search for the likes of keys and gas to fuel their escape in a frenzy, players will be playing semi-cooperatively using their actions to turn over tokens to aid in their getaway. Players will be storing said tokens in a disturbing "flesh leather bag" which fits right in with the theme.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Game may not be around in time for the spooky season - but it will be arriving in Q4 after Trick Or Treat Studios previewed this prototype at Gen Con this year.

Think you have the guts to outrun Leatherface?

"Lurking and seeing prey in each player, Leatherface will be keeping track of player locations. Chasing each player from A to B. "
