Skeld is the awesome Dwarf Berserker that was unlocked as part of the Sword & Sorcery Kickstarter Campaign by Ares Games. The campaign is now coming to an end and with that in mind here's an awesome look at his render which will be including in all pledge levels starting with the Legendary Hero...

"As a Berserker, Skeld is constantly under the effects of his blood rage. His fury drives him into the battle, where he fights with utter ferocity. The sight of his own blood further drives his frenzy and the strength of his attacks.

As a Slayer, Skeld lives to hunt down and kill the most dangerous opponents he can find on his path. No challenge is too hard, retreat is not an option, and “fight to the end” is the only rule of battle for this fierce dwarf fighter."

Now, you know I like Dwarves and I'm quite a fan of Barbarians too so this is a great new addition to their range and a character I will be playing as with much gusto when I get my hands on the game. I like the triple-ridge hairdo and the fact they've sculpted him gripped by rage, about to bring something big and nasty down.

I'm glad that they weren't tempted to put a cloak on his back as sometimes I get a little tired of seeing them everywhere, especially when you want to paint the models and the cloaks are attached already making it impossible to get in behind them.
