Happy Saturday from SK beasts!!!!! Hope you all have a wicked weekend 🙂
Same to you @irishsteve
I dont think anyone here would dream of slagging you off for a free T shirt. I think they are more than willing to do it for free
Lol true just too true he he
It’s the Weekend!!
But is it a weekend to kick-back and enjoy some fruits of my hobby labours, or labour some more on ripening more hobby fruits? If I had a “John” then I could do both!
I think I may enjoy a drink if some well ripened fruits this weekend 😉
Battlefield full of dead soldiers and the last one committing Hari-kiri… who’s been watching Westworld Series 2?
Happy Canada Day Weekend!
Happy Canada day to you too mate!
Favourite model has to be Commander Ajax. I just love how he’s in a relaxed position, ready to cast judgement in the form of a hammer to the face! 😀
Also clothing is overrated.
A man after my own heart lol you could help me convince @dignity about the virtues of becoming a naturist 😉
Maybe something for Weekend XXXLBS?
Lol
Is this where Justin turns up dressed as David Bellamy?
I think the old Mark Copplestone Future wars range would be fun for he Cyberpunk game. It would be kind of William Gibson meets Dave Lee Roth but it would be fun and colourful
Happy Saturday, all! 🙂
Thanks very much, @warzan and @dracs for the mention of the Kursk article series starting Monday. Very serious 1943 battles in multiple levels and in multiple gaming systems, I hope the community enjoys it! 😀
Really looking forward to it @oriskany
It’ll be high quality again, no doubt!
Thanks @warzan and @neves1789 !
I tried to edit / add to the above comment put apparently ran out of time. 🙂
The whole “Battle of Kursk would kill us all if re-fought today” was loosely based on this:
4.5 million men including the Operation Kutusov / Rumyantzev backlash, 12000 AFVs, 5000 aircraft, 15000+ guns, etc.
These numbers exceed (in some categories) the worst “Team Yankee” scenarios for a full-scale NATO/Warsaw Pact showdown in Europe, even considering numbers at the height of the Cold War (early-mid 1980s).
So picture 1.5-2 “Team Yankee” scenarios. This is the “Battle of Kursk II.” That battle would have to be part of (or possibly ignite) a larger context of a general WWIII it’s safe to say would be global in scope.
At that point, I feel the survival of human civilization is highly problematic. I think we’d survive as a species, but suffice it to say we’d have plenty of opportunity for “The End is Nigh” post-apocalypse tables!
Looking forward very much to Hobby Hangout!
@warzan I don’t worry about wibbley shirts,I’m on the inside of this looking out, I don’t have to see it…
Maybe Tabards would work for those of use with more… well just more.
Lol tabards lol I can’t stop giggling lol
I can’t drink Gin. I am allergic to Juniper Berry.
Hmmmm how about a black bush?
Mmmmm….I’ve always found a nice black bush quite tasty….
As far as Solomon Kane is concerned… The gameplay is what it’s about, not just the minis. The campaign has struggled a bit getting the message across about the game itself, and the lovely minis don’t help.
Since you recorded- Red Shadows, the last add-on, has been revealed. Chase Le Loup into Africa – gorilla and all…
Won’t be going all-in, but the Americas and Red Shadows combo should do me!
What add-ins are people looking to get?
Very true the game itself looks a very innovative experience.
Equally though it’s hard to resist the incredible design and sculpting talent Mythic have 🙂
Moar shirtz!
This is why I am picking up the Solomon Kane game:
https://www.peginc.com/store/solomon-kane-the-savage-world-of-solomon-kane-rpg/
Oh cool find! I didn’t know that existed 🙂
I am a HUGE Solomon Kane fan and a HUGE Savage Worlds Fan.
The Savage World of Solomon Kane is an excellent RPG. I highly recommend it.
@warzan Great weekender as always team. If I might weigh in on “Tight T Shirt Gate”, have you considered On The Table Top Moo Moos?? Those of us with slipped chests and cuddlier dispositions might benefit from this more roomier option in the T Shirt line. Just a thought ?
via GIPHY
Should partner with battle foam and gamemat to make the ultimate mumu. Wearable reversible gamemat with webbing and configurable pocket load out!
I really love that Cassandra model it has such a cool pose and the wings just look awesome
@warzan I reject your value system and on occasion find you personally ridiculous. XXL please!
Lol
As for Legends of Signum, there’s a lot to like but Vadoma really jumps out; really characterful.
What
s this a show only just over an hour long, and the "BIG" man getting laid in to............whats the world coming to, id of done it for a few pints 😉 failing that theres always that pic taken in the viking longboat.Happy sunny Saturday morning guys, nice show as usual. I
m gonna have to stop watching till the end, or your gonna have to stop showing all those beautiful KS.............now ive only gone and backed Critical Role Miniatures you gitz. 🙂Happy weekend guys.
Cyberpunk was my gateway into the hobby many years ago and I am really looking forward to seeing what comes out of the Osprey project.
Those Romans look lovely especially for the scale. Looking forward to seeing more of them.
I think that Warren is looking at this t-shirt thing the wrong way. Normally you have to pay extra for a larger billboard space.
Maybe have a small OTT on the left moob and a big one on the back for when you attend events buddy, less wrinkles back there just a big crack 😉
Have a great weekend everyone and looking forward to the upcoming terrain challenge. Now off to rummage through my spares to see what I can put together.
Dammit now I think I have to back Legends of Signum!
My favourite is Roland The Proud because the detail on the Griffon is amazing.
Day 1 backer of Legends of Signum. Fantastic looking models backed up by a tactically interesting game. Great to see extended coverage here 🙂
My favourite for Legends of Signum has to be Tara the Moonblade. I love the expression on her face and the outfit looks so lovely on her and I’m also just a sucker for anthropomorphic versions of wolves or wolf like beings.
Signum has so many great models but if I HAD to choose one it’d be the genie.
My favorite Gin is Monkey 47 Gin, which is a German Schwarzwald Dry Gin. Incredibly hard to find in the USA so I always purchase several bottles to stow them away for future use.
Speaking of rule sets, I would love to see BoW do a video of Orsprey’s Gaslands.
I keep seeing the updates for Terrain Crate. As a KS backer I still have not received mine yet, can’t wait
I hadn’t really heard of Legends of Signum. I am worried about the double dangers of CCG and Pewtercrack combined within one game. Surely the government should be getting invlolved here?
That being said, theres some very nice models there. I think my favourite is Alluna becuase she is so dynamic. That claok look a dream to paint too. Plus she’s airborn and theres no offputting flight stand. There were a few close second though.
Damn you guys so in this weeks episode before the end I had pre-order both British and German bomber boxes and back the Critical Role Kickstarter, why is every weekender so expense… and we have not even got to backstage yet.
@warzan whats this? free T-shirt if we insult the BoW crew, thank god for that because I have always thought you were all a bunch of *****
Oh, and my Souls Wars bundle has not arrived so I am not a happy bunny 🙁
ah, I cant mean that… I love you guys /hugs
I actually really like the Aria model, the lightness with which she looks suspended above the ground is almost believable!
Thanks for the show guys, the start of it was hilarious 🙂
Im with Warren as I also have the Wibely Problem, wear it with pride Warzan.
Hired goons?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsUuhW7WbIg
I love the Pontifex Conrad model, the whole speaking platform makes him look so regal
happy Saturday great show guys the new figures coming out are fantastic looking.
Game looks great and can’t wait to add to my collection.
Happy Saturday! Wonderful show as ever. Signum looks great, reminds me of Heroes of Might and magic, in terms of the different aspects of the gameplay. I look forward very much to seeing a Lets Play in the future.
More CyberPunk Skirmish/RPG can only be a good thing as well 🙂
Happy Weekend!
So the Legends of Signum miniatures are supposed to be Warren proof? 🙂
Got to pick Lucretia the Rat Doctor as she’s walking a crowd of cute pets. How can anybody resist rats in bird mask?
Some aspirational facial hair on a few of those Signum models.
@warzan If you want to play a Kane type of RPG there is always The Savage World of Solomon Kane setting for Savage Worlds, published by Pinnacle Entertainment Group. As one of their licensed settings, it contains all the rules needed to play in the S.K. setting so no need for the Core rule book.
In the setting you play a character who has crossed paths with Kane at one point in their past and has chosen to take up a similar cause against the evils of the world. It is a fantastic book with gorgeous art and includes a full plot-point campaign.

That Aria is lovely, i think she’d fit an an alternate sculpt into Mythic Battles, or maybe turn her into a cellestant prime for some storm cast.
When will OTT merch be available for us to show our support?
I don’t think there’s any question for me about the best model of Age of Signum – it’s got to be Roland the Proud. That Gryphon is just immense
That should be Legends of Signum of course.
The Weekender. The gift that keeps on giving.
For Legends of Signum my favourite model is @warzan. Oops I mean Boris Potbellied. Such a great sculpts full of character and you can tell his character just looking at him.
Had a fun weekend afterwards with the AoS 2.0 launch weekend. Wish I was playing it now.
I should start a forum thread for us to share Purple Sun stories in.
Favorite Legends of Signum model, ooo… it’s actually really hard. All of these models throwback to old school confrontation, for the most part all have great poses that seem to tell a story.
I would have to maybe pick Cassandra, I feel like she’s midcast, about to smite something or call down a big spell. I don’t want to pick up the model for fear of actually being attacked.
My favorite Legends of Signum fig is Commander Ajax. Looks awesome and I love the pose. Seems like mounted figures are always waving their weapons around in the air which is neat and all but weapons sure get heavy. Because the figure is holding the hammer down, it adds a touch of realism.
my favorite Legends of Signum model got to be the Valerian Ashmaker, it just looks incredible, the pose is very dynamic and aggressive, and the most important thing is that it looks simple enough for me to paint, I dont have amazing skill and those flat panels are great and I dont have to paint faces, and the mini with just 2 or 3 base colors would look incredible
I have to say that I love my werewolves, so it is Kevarr the Berserk for me!
For me Legends of Sigmun’s best mini is Herrick.
The minis for Legends of Signum do look yummy – love the ‘Aisha’ model. Reminds me of the old Equanimous Warriors from Confrontation, with parts of their bodies vanishing into air and smoke!
