Come and join us for another delve into the Forums and Projects to find the best of the best from the last week or so. We're going to be getting stuck into lots of great looking pieces this week...

...make sure to always let us know what YOU have been working on and share it across the site.

Fallout Wanderers by silverstars

We kick things off with some Wasteland Wanderers from the world of Fallout painted up by silverstars in the forums. Here you can see some of the awesome characters from the Modiphius game, just in time for Fallout 76 which has launched on consoles and PC.

Fallout #1 by silverstars

As you can see some great painting work has gone into not only the characters but some of the enemies that you'll face out there in the wasteland. I love the colour choices across the characters from the stark and bright blue of the Fallout Vault Suit through to the more muted greens and browns that adorn the other characters.

In another post, silverstars showed off more of the work on his Super Mutants. Whilst the colours are again muted I think they work very well for the collective and they certainly match the colour palette from games like Fallout 4.

Fallout #2 by silverstars

There is some superb work going into the basing and the rust effects on these models too, really showing off the battered and broken equipment that these Super Mutants have to make do with when they're raging around the wasteland.

Last but not least we have some of those massive hounds that folks have been so enjoying painting.

Fallout #3 by silverstars

You have to hope that Dogmeat is going to be able to help chase these monstrous beasts off! The colour tones on the skin work well with the other Super Mutants out there and it provides a great side-by-side when you see the more colourful survivors having to go up against these apocalyptic beasts.

Winter British by krautwerk

We're moving onto some Historical goodness next with the Winter British by krautwerk, all wrapped up for a long one in the middle of a muddy forest.

Winter British Infantry #1 by krautwerk

I like that whilst we're getting a sense of how big and bulky the clothing is here you can also see just how cold these soldiers are once you take a peek at their pale little faces hidden amongst those scarves and greatcoats.

The autumnal basing for these characters also means that you get a sense of where they are fighting but also means that you can do 'winter' without having to use snow, making them usable in a gaming sense across a broad range of tabletops.

Winter British Infantry #2 by krautwerk

It's the little touches that make units like these and I like that even though it is a big battle of green from further away once you look closer you can see the subtle shading and highlighting which turns each character into an individual AND he's even gone and painted the eyes too!

Yu Jing Squad by seldon9

Last but not least we're going back towards a different future for the world with Some Yu Jing from Corvus Belli's Infinity.

Yu Jing #1 by seldon9

seldon9 has been working away on some stunning miniatures, getting that orange looking superb alongside the darker colours for this scheme. The orange stands out very nicely indeed and whilst it doesn't have the blocky quality of some of the official schemes I think it works to highlight the High Sci-Fi design for Infinity.

Yu Jing #2 by seldon9

The big bases are another key part of these miniatures and I think they help to frame the miniatures very well. The little splashes of blue and green amongst the miniatures also come out very nicely and suits as a match to the orange.

Yu Jing #3 by seldon9

You can go and check out more of the finished products over on his Project Page linked above but I'd say that this might be what some folks need when it comes to being inspired to finish off some new Infinity projects.
