Come and join us for another delve into the Forums and Projects to find the best of the best from the last week or so. We're going to be getting stuck into lots of great looking pieces this week...

...make sure to always let us know what YOU have been working on and share it across the site.

Gloomhaven Heroes by yorick

We start off with a project close to my heart. I have been playing in a big Gloomhaven campaign for a long while now and whilst I have painted the heroes from the game they don't come close to how cool these characters by yorick are.

Gloomhaven #1 by yorick

Don't worry, there are no spoilers here in the images above. All of the characters that yorick has painted up are from the core set available to players at the beginning of the game. I think the detail work that yorick has been able to work into these pieces is fantastic, especially since they aren't the best-sculpted pieces. I really like the object source lighting for example on the Mindthief.

Gloomhaven #3 by yorick

My character of choice, the Cragheart, has also come out very nicely indeed and I love the way that yorick has been able to pick out the stone body and its shard-like appearance. Whilst he might be one of the smaller characters he is a dangerous warrior.

Gloomhaven #2 by yorick

I really like the additional effort that has gone into the bases too. That use of texture paint and a little dab of colour has made it so they should mix in with all the different locations you explore in Gloomhaven.

I can't wait to see what yorick does with some of the other characters later down the line. I had a lot of fun with quite a few of them!

Fantasy Undead by ghostbear

Next up we're looking at some work by ghostbear on their army for use in Warlords Of Erehwon and SAGA: Age Of Magic. Here we have his Undead Army, or at least a portion of it.

Undead Warband #1 by ghostbear

The character above, taken from the Nighthaunt range by Games Workshop is the Warlord of the group. I love the spectral, ghostly shade applied over the horse and the stark bone that pokes out from underneath. The rider also looks dangerous and brutal, almost like one with his mount. The additional base detail really makes it too!

Then, we move on to some of the awesome monsters that ghostbear has included in the army. Some shambling Undead Trolls make up the heavy hitters here.

Undead Warband #2 by ghostbear

These angry looking fellows look like they would be just the right sort of hulk you'd want to throw into the front lines to bog down your foes and crush them at the same time.

Any undead army worth its salt needs plenty of skeletons and ghostbear has taken the Warlord box and went to town on it.

Undead Warband #3 by ghostbear

These classic skeletons look like a fantastic set for those who want dynamic sculpts and a force which is reminiscent of Jason & The Argonauts. The old and weathered shields here look like they have been down in the depth of a tomb somewhere for a long time. Now, their owners have gathered weapons to serve a dangerous new warlord.

Scooby Gang by lobstermooch

Last but not least we thought we'd show off this fantastic smaller project by lobstermooch. Here we have the Scooby Gang from Hasslefree Miniatures.

I'm not sure about the snowy bases but I think that the characters have been painted exceptionally well indeed. Each of them is presented in the correct colours and has been given that cartoony edge which will make them stand out on the tabletop.

I particularly liked the way they'd managed to get Velma looking awesome in that orange sweater. Also, Scooby looks very proud! I can't wait to see what these models get used for.
