@warzan Kids football kits go for a reasonable price on eBay. They may not be this seasons kit but they’re better priced than the new ones.

@avernos I’m not sure if I will ever get chance to go back to the Genestealers project. I have so many other projects bubbling away at the back of my head, I doubt I will have the time.
Very inspirational and love seeing people take on other ideas for painting miniatures beyond the traditional
@warzan Greenstuff World do a spider serum that you can spray on with an airbrush to create scale looking spider webs, might be worth a look at for the dungeon.
I love @lloyd fantasy gnome army, I can’t wait to see more of it. And I also want one with a Ben voice box underneath their bases…. ?

Just got back from running herd on little ones and as it’s a glorious Sunday, sun shining and birds singing, they obviously wanted to sit in the dark and watch Disney princess movies and here I get home to watch you lot and your crooning on about ‘having a dream’ like the hairy reprobates in tangled. I’m keen gardener that went for the wildflower look but as I have a cat bees and butterflies must find it like the fulda gap – if it flies it dies.That’s a cracking attempt at a wall. It’s worth keeping an eye on the ebay charity sites, like Bernardo or Oxfam, for a Liverpool kit, I’m not trying to be funny here honest, the teams donate new kits that then get put up for sale via the charity…Or he could model himself on the king of Thailand who spends his days living it up in a German castle throwing raves with supermodels and I’m guessing copious amounts of red bull.

@lloyd your half Dwarves could fit into a Varangur army for Kings of War. The Varangur are classed as the’evil’ Northern Alliance. The Northern Alliance is made up of elves, humans and dwarves. Out of the three races the Varangur only have humans, so anything that says human replace with half Dwarves representing the offspring of human and dwarf that have been kicked out by the racist elves.
The army also have Draugr so you’re sorted for them. If you have any conquest minis The Fallen are 3 to 6 figures in a unit and are ogre sized, so the bigger conquest figures would do for that.
Happy to take a rescue mini and paint it for you. Happy to go all in on the guiltstarter and paint as many minis as you like @warzan. Lol.
Smurfs riding moomins? Not sure that’s an image I want in my head or on my painting table.
I understand that stunted no-knee Dwarves are not people’s favourite, but I love the glorious chest full of beard that GW dwarves have. I like the Oathmark dwarves being better proportioned, but I would like a slightly more fantasy big noses and silly beard on them to make them look less human.

Well that was a curious choice of content for the first 20 minutes! Then poor Ben getting rushed through his hobby segment. Maybe less about the flower beds in future? There was already plenty to talk about for the dungeon diorama.

Some nice looking golden Buttons there guy’s, very well deserved.
I also love unusal dice. I’m currently writing fantasy battle rules using a D17.378 which is multiplied by a D1. It gives a very interesting spread of results.
I’ve watched the XLBS AND the Star Wars Holiday Special simultaneously. I’m very exhausted, and even more confused now.
@warzan we have only met once, briefly, back at a pre-Salute pub meet in 2015 (or was it 2014?), But I’ve been a member of this community for many years. Despite all the myriad other gaming and hobby communities that have sprung up over the years, this is still the place I invest the most time in, by a significant margin. It’s like a comfort blanket of sorts.
