It's OTTWeekender Time! In this week's show, we chat about what we're looking forward to from the new edition of Kings of War, the epic 28mm scale Fantasy wargame by Mantic Games. Could one of the best Fantasy wargames on the market make its rules and lore even better than they already are?

You officially get to choose to either be a Weird World War werewolf, vampire or werebear
Loved 1st and 2nd edition KoW. Third was a miss. Felt like it shifted too far toward tournament play. Still occasionally get a game of 2nd in with a buddy but it heavily curtailed
Maybe this edition will solve those issues?

Those Weaver Court miniatures are amazing. They’d make excellent denizens of the Rift in a Konflict 47 game.

That one page rules box looks surprisingly good. Those model designs are really nice, and I’m impressed by those cardboard trees. A nice extra I wouldnt expect in a box like this.
Yeah when you get some good starting terrain that isn’t just ruins it’s a nice touch

Hi Folks, for those who watch here on BoW WoW rather than utubes, just to highlight Mantic have discounted the current physical copy rulebook to nothing you pay only postage (about a Fiver £5) to get a copy whilst stock last.
Yeah that was a badass move for folks seeking to snap that up
Kings command dice, I thought I’d get more use out of you…. Ah well, it’s a good game anyway! (Buff halfling nerve values)
Do like the idea of Konflikt 47, may jump into that. But following the 4th Ed KOW news with great interest.
K47 Brits: 4+ feel no pin
Kings of war is Easily my favourite all-out game. That said, I didnt manage to get dice rolled throughout the whole of third. I’m very hopeful fourth will change that and get me back to some massed battle Monday nights!
