Don’t know how I feel about the terrain in the 40k starter set. I’d rather have more minis. Already have more terrain than I could ever put on a table.

I’ve started to paint some GW Bloodletters today… but fuck them, those ones from Greebo are amazeballs! Does anyone sell Greebo in the UK or Ireland because I wouldn’t trust the Italian post service as far as I could throw Warren?
Wayland Games has Greebo Fantasy Football teams as a category on their webstore, but sadly there are no products in stock. I wonder if that’s because they are waiting for stock, or no longer stocking them and haven’t updated the website.

Another grand week with an exceptional Indy find. Unfortunately, it appears they do not ship outside of the EU and that creates much sad.
Love the “shadow box diorama” idea Warren and it looks like it’s coming together nicely!

I think I actually prefer the Lumineth set more than the 40k one; just seems to have been handled a little better.
The X men are fantastic but the Daredevil reveal is the one I’m most excited about!
I back Svilland on the first KS they did and it’s amazing as a setting for something different for DND
Some of my favourite things in the 40k range were the space marine tanks. They used to be so solid looking and grounded. All this anti-grav stuf just looks half finished 🙁
You did tempt me to look at the Greebo online shop, and you are greeted by a pop-up saying they are on holiday for all of August….. So it would be nice if you could remind people about them again in Septemper, as a lot of folks might be put off ordering from them at the moment, and then forget about it.
So much amazing stuff coming out, this hobby keeps going from strength to strength. Great show as ever, have a fantastic weekend guys!

Maybe its just me but I feel like companies like Battlefront and GW are putting out so much great product and content over the past 6 months. If a guy isn’t careful he might go broke. Lol
It’s the Weekender……
Man that Lumineth box set looks pretty cool!
I’m really excited to see the X-Men and Brotherhood being added to ‘Marvel: Crisis Protocol’. Of course I’m curious as to how they’ll release these so soon when they haven’t even posted a release date for the ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ or ‘The Punisher’ yet. I guess that is the one thing I’d like ‘Atomic Mass Games’ to improve on.
I think I’ll snag both the new codex from Games Workshop. The Space Marines having my ‘Imperial Fists’ in it is a must have and since I have the Necrons now with my Indomitus’ box set it too is a must have.
Also, I’ll be adding those new grav tanks as well. I know @warzan dislikes these, but if I have to except the Primaris replacing standard space Marines the Warren needs to lighten up on the grav tanks. He should join me in saying to Games Workshop, “Tanks for the new models”! ??

I for one , want to see what Warren does with these “Iron maiden” demons. Hopefully he does a job that Edward T Head would be proud of……and maybe even a little conversion of the man himself. Nothing more fitting than Eddie pulling the strings of a demon army like “the number of the beast” album cover…. Damn, now I really want to see that !

The 40k starters look good
@warzan You have a wall along the back of your display. You could have pictures of monsters attacking over the wall and have heroes figting towards the wall, fighting in to the diorama and not just along it. It could add an extra level to the flow and make it feel more 3 dimensional.
Wow. I knew Greebo did Violent Fantasty Football minis. I’ll check out their monsters right now.
Not least the Snow King. I’ll be holding my Shieldwolf Yeti up to the screen to see if he can lead them in Kings of War

I believe that the 40k Command box has same miniatures as Elite box with the terrain, so not really starter armies.
Those x-men look cool but crisis protocol is way too expensive.
I hadn’t heard of Greebo miniatures before… where have I been? The minis look great and probably ‘KUGOO, THE COMET FIST’ is my favourite. Looking at prices they seem very good compared to Forge World specialist characters for Bloodbowl. For 40K Indomintus there are only a couple of minis that jump out to me at the moment, but if the Astra Militarum get upgrades and/or FW re-release the Leman Russ tank variants, I will be very happy…
The Kromlech bits are really versatile

Happy Weekend CoGs, crew and those cult adjacent. I know the cow elves got a bit of flack for their design, but getting past the fawny horns I really like the high elf armour design.
Happy weekender, I agree with lloyd I think gw have missed a trick with the cars terrain especially how it has more rules now in the game.
Just wondering when GW lost the book rights for LoTR? It was my understanding that they still had those (along with the movie rights) for miniatures wargames.
They have the book and film rights sorry yes. But only the three main books and the Appendices I believe.
FFG have book rights to everything from what I remember; I could be wrong. I don’t see GW losing there position anytime soon but it was an interesting tease from FFG.
Maybe they’ll do something in a smaller scale?
Great episode again guys! My girlfriend really likes the Lumineth Realm-Lords army set, so might be a great way to get her hooked into the hobby as well!

I like the new elves, the models in this box are fine… it is some of the monsters and heroes they’ve previewed that are pretty shit.
Heroquest 3d looks epic
The real question is how much the starter sets are going to be. Hopefully the new Start Collecting boxes won’t duplicate any of the minis, which would give newbies a nice way to get started.

I really like the kickstarter for the Norse inspired roleplaying. I always liked Vikings and everything connected with them so this is amazing in my opinion.

I do agree on point about the new space marine vehicles (and that they would be better if they had retained the tracks).
I think that the Primaris marines are really knocking it out of the park, but the vehicles seem to (thus far) not as good as the vehicles that they are supposed to replace, – the Rhino and land raider look better than the new ones and the new mariokart, with no armor on the front looks strange and not an improvement on the old landspeeder. The new bikes however, look fantastic!

Those elves are damn nice models
why don’t you print a tavern and if you have the stl file then use tinkercad to “cut” a hole in one of the walls. I believe printable scenery has a couple of taverns (port tavern and Winterdale tavern)

As a fan of all things elven, if ever there was a faction that could get me into AoS, it’d be the high elves reborn. Unless they do something with the dark elves like they did with the dark eldar (bah, I’m old, I’m not saying drukhari).
