Bad Squiddo Games Hitting Kickstarter With WWII Soviet Women

Bad Squiddo Games are coming to Kickstarter at the start of April with their Women Of WWII: Soviet Russia campaign. Get ready for some new 28mm Historical miniatures defending the Motherland!

Following plenty of research into the period, Bad Squiddo Games is going to be bringing an array of new metal miniatures to Kickstarter from 7th to 14th April. The main theme of the Kickstarter will be exploring winter variants of these World War II soldiers in ushankas and big greatcoats. You'll also find some new summer uniform options too.

Playing With Lead painted up some of the early miniatures from the campaign and they do look pretty spot on.

With folks looking for alternative ways to build World War II armies, a band of seriously kickass Soviet women sounds like a great idea. It is well known how many women joined the fight for the Soviets in many, many different positions. Pilots, tank drivers, snipers and soldiers; they pretty much kicked ass wherever they ended up!
