Empress Miniatures has been previewing more on the Arnhem Heroes Kickstarter that is going to be launching in the early portion of 2023. This will feature a range of new miniatures from Paul Hicks focused on, you guessed it, Arnhem in World War II.

As mentioned in previous previews, the miniatures will be based on the defenders of Arnhem during the operation. They have been heavily researched to make sure that those wanting to play out the events of Arnhem will have a pretty darn authentic experience. I like that there are so many different sculpts in the mix here from regular infantrymen through to miniatures for scenarios, objectives and more.

I absolutely love the set above which features wounded soldiers, others bellowing into radios and more. I think you'd have a pretty fun time diving into this and playing out an entire campaign JUST around Arnhem and that small pocket of World War II.

You also have this fun set featuring a fellow running around with a hand trolley! More support weapons are also going to be available to pick up when the Kickstarter launches giving you essentially the entire of Arnhem to dive into and have fun with.

I think we'll be doing a proper deep dive on this collection when it finally hits Kickstarter around February. Paul Hicks is a fantastic sculptor and manages to capture so much detail in the faces of the soldiers that he sculpts.
