Grey For Now Games has previewed more of the plastic miniatures coming to their World War II skirmish game, 02 Hundred Hours. We've seen the SAS and now we're getting a look at the German Sentries that they'll have to avoid.
German Sentries // 02 Hundred Hours
These miniatures have been made in partnership with Wargames Atlantic and were sculpted by Rob Macfarlane. Jez Allum also worked on the painting for this set of previews! The set allows you to make Heer Senties, Officers, Feldgendarmes (military police) and also Guard Dog Handlers.
You can arm these soldiers with Mauser Rifles, Mp40s (classic), SMGs and Luger Pistols. There are also accessories for making more "relaxed" guards who you have either caught unawares or captured.
There are bitz for adding torches, binoculars, guards smoking cigarettes, checking papers, carrying their helmets and saluting. You might have noticed that there are options for making surrendering German guards as well.
It's a really great set that is packed with options. Between this, the SAS plastic miniatures and the metal models, the folks at Grey For Now and Wargames Atlantic have pulled together a fantastic range. The game sounds like it could be a lot of fun too!
Are you going to be picking this plastic kit up?

I think I really need to get into this game.
I think a lot of folks will be thinking the same!
Low model count, can use the models elsewhere, lots of sneakin. It’s ticking some boxes
I wonder how much tweaking would be needed to switch settings if you don’t want WW2 …
I imagine very little – most of C20 should be fine. There’s also Black Ops, an Osprey blue book that might tick those stealthy skirmish boxes.
yeah I’d imagine so. I suspect cameras can be implemented as ‘guards’ that need a human somewhere on the board to work. Maybe a quick skill check to simulate the fact that a single human can’t focus on more than a few cameras at a time. Something similar for sentry guns if you make things a bit more futuristic. (see? I’m already having ideas and haven’t seen the rules 😀 ) It will be interesting to see how quick and easy to learn the actual rules are. I hope there’s some rules or objectives that limit the usefulness of ‘meta… Read more »
Sounds like a ruleset in the making. Have a go!
Every time you kill a sentry you shall utter the words : “Ach mein Leben” 😉
fab looking figures.
