This is a series of specialised Droid options for you to use as part of your army, sneaking behind enemy lines, hunting down leaders and ambushing your foes when they least expect it. This team is armed with all sorts of rather deadly weapons as you'll see here...

Your BX-Series Droid Commandos can either be taken as a full team or as a smaller two-droid strike operation, much like with the Arc Troopers we saw last week. They can take weapons like their standard E-5 Blaster Rifle, Vibroswords and they also have Deflector Shields which look very cool. One of your Commandos can also bring a Sniper Rifle and a Saboteur can deploy Dioxis Mines which mean you can funnel the enemy towards your intended ambush location.

As you'll note by their cards, the BX-Series Droid Commandos are able to either work as a brutal strike team thanks to their Vibroswords or as a bit more of a defensive element if you choose the Deflector Shields. The Strike Team allows them to sneak behind enemy lines and use their Sharpshooter skill in order to pick off their targets easily.

This is a nice versatile unit and gives you something a bit more specialised compared to your standard Battle Droid.

What do you make of this new unit and will you be getting one?
