Ghetto Miniatures Start Kicking Off A Bit Of Gang Warfare

Ghetto Miniatures are a new company looking to bring a bit of violence to the streets with a skirmish game that will hit Kickstarter soon. See what you think of some of the artwork and miniatures already sorted for the game...
As you can see the miniatures have a very 'funky' vibe to them I don't think that this is something that has ever really been done before in miniature form, not to my knowledge anyway.
The models certainly look the part and I want there to be a distinct level of creepy funkiness going on with this game when it launches. Speaking of a launch, the game is looking to be on Kickstarter at the end of the month so keep an eye out.

Hope they don’t get sued…
But, yeah, I’m down for a gang fight skirmish game. I’ve wanted to see The Warriors in miniatures form anyway.

Where is the bad guy gang from Warriors? The ones they fight on the beach at the end. They sort of dressed like the Ramones.

Maybe they haven’t done those yet. But the “Come out to play” graffiti is a direct quote of that scene and if you look at the facebook page its got lots of references to the movie.
This is not the first street violence game. If you want it nasty then try ‘No Go Zone’. They even minis of jakkies havin a piss! Awesome fun.

The lizzys aren’t represented either. Nor the Orphans. This game would borrow very easily the Batman scenery.

I loved the film… As for the game – the rules look like an attempt to “out-simplify the Age of SIgmar” so far, and the miniatures look like something made in the 70’s (maybe it was the designers’ intent, I don’t know).
I’d love to have some more street gangs for “Fistful of Kung-Fu”, but I need to see more sculpts before I commit.
