Lando Calrissian and Agent Kallus were previewed not too long ago in some sneaky corners of the internet but we now have official previews of these miniatures which are coming to Star Wars: Legion soon from Fantasy Flight Games and Atomic Mass Games.

Lando Calrissian comes in as a new Command Expansion for use in your Rebel forces. In line with the most recent releases for Legion, the actual miniature comes with a few different head options and poses in addition to a few takes on that classic cloak/cape of his. You can't go anywhere without a fancy cape.

He brings his sharpshooter skills to the tabletop if you want to use him in a straight-up gun battle but he's also blessed with a smugglers guile when it comes to changing his plans on the fly. That's where the Contingency cards come in!

This means that if things are turning against you, you can throw in a few different Command Cards from a set-aside pile in order to tip the balance in your favour. Building on the character of Lando Calrissian and twisting things slightly you also have his Flaw Card which is introduced to your opponent's hand. A neat twist!

Rebel Hunter

As well as a new option for the Rebels we also have a hardened Imperial veteran who is looking to bring the Rebels low. Agent Kallus is coming as a new Commander Expansion for the Empire as part of the ISB.

Much like with Lando, this miniature comes with an array of different options including his  J-19 Bo-Rifle in either its staff or rifle form. Kallus is pretty darn adept with this weapon and it makes him a fearsome foe to face both in close combat and at range.

Kallus' ruthless streak is worked into everything he brings to the tabletop in terms of his upgrades, core abilities and the command cards he can offer to Imperial players. Despite his ruthless nature though Kallus does have a habit of sympathising with his foes on occasion. That's where his Flaw Card comes in which might turn the tide of battle.

I won't spoil anything for those who haven't watched the Rebels cartoon series but it would be fun to see some folks play around with a few alternative paths that Kallus takes during his story. I would particularly like to see ‎Garazeb Orrelios popping up as a character to match against Kallus.
