North Star Preview The Russians Coming To The Silver Bayonet

North Star Military Figures has shown off the next unit for The Silver Bayonet that will be released in the new year. The Russians are getting ready to take to the tabletop for Osprey Games' Napoleonic Gothic Horror miniatures game.

The set, much like the existing offerings for The Silver Bayonet, will come with a mix of soldiers and mystics. The soldiers look like they have been plucked from the front lines and now bear a selection of talismans and relics which are going to hold off the encroaching darkness.
As well as that, you've got the old wise woman/witch/warlock in the back who has either been pressganged into this unit or came of her own free will. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth I guess? This is a great set for those wanting to dive into the fourth faction presented in the core book for The Silver Bayonet.

For a moment I thought that title said Prussians!
Fantastic figures, and a great addition for players of the silver bayonet. Really characterful sculpts as well as to be expected from the folks at NorthStar.
One small observation somebody pointed out that I now cannot, the crosses are incorrect, the orthodox cross should have a second cross, only the soldier on the left has this. Not that this would stop be buying these 😉

Great miniatures. I was hoping to see the werebear,but I am glad with the selection they have offered. Maybe early next year we will get to see it.
That is some fine beards on display there, I’m surprised the guy on the left was allowed in as he seems to have lost his beard in some terrible monster related incident.

Nice minis, I like the same style you find in the musket and tomahawk range and have been tempted by the French Indian war bundles. These are a fine addition to the Silver Bayonet range.
Nice they are on my short list for a faction to go for. I like the aesthetic of an East or central European warband. Any signs of the Prussians yet.
You can’t go wrong with the Cossak and his furry hat.
