Satanic Panic Miniatures have been showing off some more awesome 28mm old-school miniatures for use in your dungeon-delving adventures and skirmish games. This time, they're bringing a warband of Bugbears to the tabletop armed with an assortment of weapons.

Old School Bugbears - Satanic Panic Miniatures

Old School Bugbears Kickstarter // Satanic Panic Miniatures

This Kickstarter looks to cover the moulding of a range of Bugbears that you can pack out your dungeons with. They have an awesome old-school look to them and I really like their furry faces! The addition of the big hoods and the padded armour also helps give them a more militaristic feel that could turn them from dungeon dwellers to a warband of their own in a skirmish game.

Bugbear Bowmen - Satanic Panic Miniatures

There are options for Bugbear archers (armed with regular bows and crossbows) as well as Bugbears armed with spears and other hand weapons. This means that if you're looking to put together a solid force of these burly bruisers then you'll have the weapon options to do so.

The pleasingly chunky sculpts should also mean that these miniatures are fun to paint as well. I really like the idea of doing them with shockingly bright fur to match some of the artwork that we see in the likes of D&D and then giving them very dark clothing and armour as a contrast.

More Creatures!

If you're looking to get your hands on more miniatures then there are some bonus offerings as part of the campaign too. You could go with some Robed Goblins that could work as a warband going up against the Bugbears...

...or introduce some hulking Trolls into the mix instead. If you were looking to go down the route of an army rather than using these as dungeon fodder then you've now got your core infantry in the form of the Goblins, some elite troops with the Bugbears and then monstrous elements in the form of the Trolls.

Make sure to check out the campaign over on Kickstarter and watch out for more from Satanic Panic Miniatures as 2024 rolls around. A full twenty ranges are planned for next year sculpted by Martin Buck which is particularly exciting.

If the campaign reaches £4000 then they'll also unlock this awesome miniature of Gaflabb The Dispatcher!

Sculpted by Juan Montano, this could be a great option for those looking for a warband leader or a boss for your heroes to fight in a game or D&D.

What do you make of the new range from Satanic Panic Miniatures?
