Sally 4th are on Kickstarter right now with a new set of 28mm metal miniatures for telling the story of Rob Roy! Inspired by the classic tale, you'll be able to get your hands on miniatures representing the characters from Rob Roy alongside Highlander warriors.

The core offering for this Kickstarter is a 28mm set of metal miniatures that have been sculpted by Iain Lovecraft. However, if you prefer firing up the 3D Printer to get a hold of your miniatures, you can also get yourself a 3D Printable set from the Kickstarter.

Sally 4th has been producing miniatures like these for a while so the metal miniatures should come out very nicely indeed. Packed with detail, these could work well in all manner of different skirmish wargames as well as in some roleplaying games if you prefer. You could also just paint these up for the sake of it and showcase your painting of tartan!

The outlaw and folk hero comes as part of the core set alongside Mary and Kilearn. There's a neat bit of Liam Neeson about the sculpt for Rob Roy which seems suitably fitting.

As well as the core set of characters, you can also get your hands on a whole set of Highlanders which can be used alongside Rob Roy if you're seeking to build a warband for your games.

I think these characters have turned out exceptionally well and I love that we're seeing the finished miniatures as well as the digital renders. It helps you get an idea of how these miniatures should turn out when you get them to the tabletop. I can't wait to see someone go through and paint individual clan tartans for all of the different characters.

There are also some neat Stretch Goals for you to aim for as you dive into the campaign. I like the addition of Archibald who is going to be seeing if he can swashbuckle with Rob Roy!
