V&V Miniatures Stomp To War With New War Elephant Kit

V&V Miniatures has added a new kit to their collection for those seeking to build up a fun Carthaginian collection in 28mm. A mighty War Elephant is now stomping to war with bonus bits and pieces to add to the awesomeness!

This set features one of their resin Carthaginian War Elephants with a full crew atop the howdah on the back. Bows, spears and more can be used to strike at the enemy and you also have the elephant itself with those gorging tusks!

Being another of the big resin kits from V&V Miniatures, this is a rather detailed piece and I like that the elephant itself is nicely textured. It means painting it isn't going to be that much of a drag and you can rely on drybrushing to bring out all the wrinkles in the skin.
A bonus for this War Elephant kit is that you also get a poor Roman who is about to get utterly crushed by the rampaging elephant.

If the elephant doesn't step on him and squash him into jelly, the chap with the big pike is going to make sure he is finished off. I don't think this fellow is going to be making it back to Rome.

Great looking elephants for battling Romans.
I’d love to see a scale comparison of this and the Victrix elephants. Always nice to have some variety, and this looks even nicer than the Victrix figures, if anything!
