V&V Miniatures posted some teasers online this week showcasing their work in a new material for their figures. The team tend to work in resin but they have started making a foray into metal and the previews this week showed off some of their Medieval Knights.

After fifteen years of working in resin, it has been an interesting change to see them look at producing metal miniatures. It seems like this endeavour has been a success as well and we should start to see metal options appearing on their webstore soon.

One of the nice things about the V&V Miniatures range is that they capture some absolutely awesome detail in their sculpts. There could have been a worry that changing material could have brought with it a change in quality. It doesn't look like that was the case though and these look as crisp as anything!

Another of the interesting elements of this change is that we could potentially see a change in price as well. We shall see how things shake out over the next few weeks and months but I am excited to see where V&V Miniatures go with their metal range in the future. I don't see resin going anywhere soon either so don't worry about that!
