Zenit Tease Sakurakami Samurai Coming To Kickstarter Soon

Zenit Miniatures has been teasing some new additions to their range of miniatures for their wargame, Kensei. Sakurakami: Jewel Of The Empire, features a new selection of samurai miniatures and a bit more besides!

Looking into a bit of the backstory, it seems like the focus here is on a valiant band of warriors looking to bring back light to the lands of Himukai in the name of the goddess, Hikarii. Sounds like we could either have some proper heroes on our side or some dangerous zealots!
The miniatures from Zenit are always worth taking a closer look at and we're getting another good selection of sculpts to choose from with warriors armed with a variety of different weapons. I'm sensing we'll get a neat force of Onna-musha for use in your games.
As well as the new Samurai, there are also going to be some new terrain kits dropping as part of this campaign!

The folks at Zenit hinted that this terrain is going to be "Foamed PVC". I'm not entirely sure what that will look like but hopefully, we'll get some more previews of this before the Kickstarter campaign launches.

Nice looking figures.
Still holding out on picking up the game but these models are good stuff by me.
