Star Wars Rebels Painting

Hi sorry for the late update, but i have finnaly found the time to share some of the pics, me and my pal Rasmus took though our game last week. It was a really fun game, we tried hostage exchange, witch is a really cool and unik new mission.

Bassically you have just exchange hostages and are on you way back before all hell break loss. You both have 1 units each, in the middle of the table with a hostage, and you have to try get it back to you deployment zone.

It was a fun game, I made some mistakes, and made our table a bit to open, and i lost. But it was a nice table I cant play on anything less, thanks to @warzan , @lloyd and those amazing tables ive seen on the weekender, and when I have visited ott HQ itself .

Not all fotos are great, its hard to be a combat fotograf, and playing the game ;D

But i really love the paint job, he have been giving those Imperial forces

I’m gonna have a game with a good friend tommorow, facing his beautiful painted empire forces. 800 point game where I will try out some of my newly painted models ?

Finally finished my rebel commandos, I finished the 2 man strike team some time ago, and now I can add the 5 last models for my rebel forces. I used the same paints as before ? I’ve finally orded some basing materiel for my entire rebel forces. Hopefull they would soon arrive ?

I’ve been assambling some of my other rebels. Troopers, troopers expansion looking forward to paint those too.

I got my hands on han solo at a clearing sale, and now he is painted up, and I think he looks pretty okay.

I gave him a base paint ap uniform Grey.

Boots: painted ap Matt black, then dry brushed ap uniform Grey, and washed gw nuln oil.

Pants: vj chocolate brown, a bit of ap leather brown on some straps and his belt. Then I used ap desert yellow on his sewing. Then I gave the whole thing gw arthrax Earthshade.

West and coat: his shirt was painted ap skeleton bone washed it with gw arthrax Earthshade and high lighted with AP skeleton bone. on the west i used vj german Grey and highlighted with ap uniform Grey, and washed it in nuln oil . The coat was already Grey, and I used a ap soft tone, and it made it green grey like I wanted it to?

The gun was painted vj German grey, vj gun metal grey 1:1 and highlighted with ap plate metal, and then washed it with gw nuln oil.

Skin : ap elf flesh, gw sephia wash, and then a highlight of ap elf flesh.

Hair: his hair was painted with AP dessert yellow and washed with gw sephia wash, and then highlighted with AP dessert Yellow.

I had my fist skirmish battle the other day. It was an awesome game, I wone for a change. I took a few pictures of it. To be honest I was to busy making wookie sounds, instead of taking pictures ? I played against a friend who have a gorgeous looking emperial army. I might snap a few pics of them later, got one of his scouts.

Sinch Ive been painting more lately, I’ve also got more games in. And legion like other ff games use a lot of cards for unit profile and such. It can sometimes be a mess so I bought 10 pages card sleeves, and I must say they do make it easy to keep track of you upgrades and units.

Hi again, have not been posting in a while, life caught up to me again sadly…. But I finally got myself back to painting again. I have a skirmish battle for tomorrow, and i finished 2 new units, more wookies and fleet troops. And I tried something diffrent with the wookies fur this time.

I started  by undercoating them AP Uniform Grey, and then i used GW nuln oil, and GW arthrax eathshade 1 layer of each of the leader. 1 got two washes of nuln oil, and the last 2 got 2 layers of  GW arthrax earthshade. Then i gave them all an light drybrush of uniform grey. The rest of the model is painted just like the other group, belts and such.

The reason why i did this, was to make sure the two units looked different so i could easily recognize them. One unit looks general more dark grey, where the first i light brown.

My fleet troops, was painted as the other, but with a diffrent skintone. I used GW skarag brow, and the washed them in GW arthrax earthshade.  Im pretty happy with the results.

I also finished a rebel officer. I used a lot of the same colors, but i cant remember what i did whit the shirt. Think it was an AP Lava Orange with a GW Nuln oil.

I’ve add some vallejo Atlantig blue for the water effects, and I like the look of it. I’m gonna add some foam to water. I’ve been testing it out but it looks like crap, I’m not sure Im using i my right so it will have to wait for a later date to be add.

Might add some seashells or star fish ? there will be some tropical plants, but I’m testing some ideas with it aswell
