Get Stuck Into Your Own 3D Trench Run Terrain On Kickstarter

Jeffrey McKelvy has taken to Kickstarter to fund his terrain project to help create a fantastic Trench Rune Terrain Set for use with the X-Wing Miniatures Game by Fantasy Flight Games.
Inspired by the movies and the game that he loves he's designing a magnetised kit which sits up on raised pillars as the tiles click into place.
As well as that he has created a selection of turrets for you to place around the surface of the Death Star to give yourself some obstacles to fly into!
Also, because this effectively becomes your entire play space he's designed a dice tower which stays in keeping with the Death Star theme and fits in nicely with the surroundings.
You can pledge for various sized kits for this as well as some cool Dice Cups and a Countdown Timer too. It's nice to see a passion project like this coming to life and it's already gained a lot of traction online.

love the dice tower and the trench.
if you a X-Wing fan and do not have the funds for the 3D terrain, pulling down the rules and playing is fun as well. I like to demo X-Wing to newbies this way as it is an iconic scene in the movie that even the younger generation of players knows well.
My only problem with this is, Why didn’t someone do it sooner!!!!!! I guess lots of people have done their own version (my printed terrain attempt for example). This looks superb. Do I dare head over to KS and check the $$.
