Warlord Games has put together a neat selection of new releases for those seeking to bolster the forces of Napoleon. A massive amount of cavalry, Napoleon's Guard Cavalry, are getting ready for a thundering charge in 15mm Black Powder Epic Battles: Waterloo.

There are six different sets for you to pick up currently from Warlord Games. Each of them focuses on a specific unit from the time that would have been around during the battle. The main focus of this is making sure that the Imperial Guard under Napoleon are represented as they should be! The best of the best are then able to ride forth against the British.

Whilst the vast majority of these new releases for the French are mounted and ready for a scrap, there is also a set that comes with some handy cannons. Who could say no to some beefy artillery for pounding your enemy into submissions?

As mentioned above, all of these sets are available separately or you can pick up the Napoleon's Guard Cavalry Bundle which gets you everything plus the free Empress Dragoons.

When this breaks down you get four bases of the Chasseurs, Grenadiers and Lancers plus two bases of the Gendarmes. You also get twelve bases of French Imperial Guard Horse Artillery which is a LOT of guns. The four bases of Empress Dragoons then get thrown in for free and give you a bit more punch.

Things have really expanded for Epic Battles since Warlord Games turned their attention to Waterloo and it's neat to see this scale being properly catered for. It will be interesting to see where they go next with Epic Battles and what period gets a look in.

Has this just bolstered your French army for Waterloo?
