3D Print Yourself Army Privates For Pulpy Games Of 7TV
January 14, 2026 by brennon
Crooked Dice has introduced some more 28mm scale miniatures into the mix for those wanting to fire up their 3D printers. You can get your hands on a set of Army Privates, which could be used as generic soldiers in all sorts of games, be they Pulp adventures or something more Historical.
Army Private Specialists // Crooked Dice
There are a variety of different Army Privates for you to choose from, clad in uniforms that would make them fit a mixture of different eras from the 70s and 80s all the way through to the modern day. For example, you could get your hands on the Specialists above, which include a Sniper, Demonlistist and a Corporal. You could see these fellows fighting alongside some kind of G.I. Joe character.
These Specialists could then be watched over by some of the standard Army Privates who can come with Rifles as you see here...

...or with SMGs for when things get up close and personal. You have soldiers in both sets who are firing, aiming, marching, and patrolling. A solid set that makes these a great bunch of core options for a skirmish-based affair.

If you need a little bit more heavy firepower, you can also get yourself two sets. The first is this Heavy Machine Gun, which can lay down a bit of covering fire as your other Army Privates rush for cover or head towards the enemy to take them out. It's a classic machine gun with a team of two manning it.

Sometimes, the enemy, perhaps an insane genius, has access to all sorts of terrifying machines, tanks and such. That's when you call in the Bazooka Crew so you can blow it to smithereens! Another nice new classic "Army Men" set that helps expand on your options for regular grunts fighting alongside your main characters in games of 7TV.

Used alongside characters like 7TV's Secret Agent, you've now got the makings of an excellent set of figures for use in a James Bond-esque affair on the tabletop. Depending on how you paint these miniatures, you could also use them as villainous minions if you prefer. Give them red or black clothes and you've got some bad guys for James Bond to fight!
It's well worth checking out the other 3D printing options from Crooked Dice HERE. You can find loads of miniatures for crafting fun scenarios on the tabletop.
What do you make of these Army Privates?

Or with the right paint job fighting against him and James Bond, they really do seem more like Bond minions.
I’m not printing my privates.
they stay where they are …
#DadJoke ?
😐
I had most of these in metal, great miniatures.
They would be perfect for 70’s UNIT soldiers too. Many moons ago I had a copy of the old Doctor Who: Invasion Earth game, long since lost to time and very hard to get hold of now. These would be a fun way to start re-creating it!
That’s what these were originally for!
My brothers and I are focusing on OPR: Firefight and Flames of Orion for now, but — hot dang! — I want to give 7TV a spin! Such a cool idea for a wargame!
Half the fun of 7TV is recreating TV shows you love, and sourcing minis for it. I did a Guyver episode. My gaming group had no idea what any of it was, but I enjoyed it.
